ADVENTURERS—will meet today at 2 p.m. at the church.  All those who are interested in registering their children for Adventurers, please be here today and meet with Elizabeth Greenleaf.  We will be going over to the Mt. Aetna Nature Center today.

CALL TO PRAYER—Each evening our Prayer Team will meet  just before the meetings at 6:45 p.m. in the last room at the end of the hall.  If you are interested in joining us, please come early.  If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Rice.

DISCOVER PROPHECY—with Pastor Dave Weigley continues tonight at 7 p.m. and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday.  Please come and bring a friend with you.

Service Opportunities

FOOD DRIVE—Please remember our food drive for ACTS 9.   Please check the suggestions of food items to bring and each Sabbath let’s make our food table full.

Sep. 29—peanut butter; jelly 

Oct. 6—Hamburger helper; Tuna Helper

   Oct. 13—instant mashed potatoes/ or scalloped potatoes

   Oct. 20—rice; spaghetti

 

Prayer and Praise

PRAYER REQUESTS—may be placed in the prayer box in the foyer.       These requests will be prayed for by the church staff.

SPECIAL PRAYER—Catherine Lothrap would like everyone to keep     her and her family in prayer as they lay her sister to rest.  The funeral is       today.  She will not be able to attend, but please keep them in prayer.

PRAYER REQUEST—Linda Baker is needing to find a place to live.  If anyone can help her, please let her know, and keep her in your prayers.

CHURCH GREETERS—all the regular church greeters need to meet with Ina right after the church service to get their new schedules. 

NEW CHURCH DIRECTORY—We need to update our new church directory and LifeTouch is coming to take pictures on Oct. 21,22,23,24.  We want to make sure you are included in our new directory, so please call the church office and schedule your appointment.   We are also needing volunteers to be hostess’ for those days.  If interested, please let us know.

LADIES LUNCHEON - our next monthly Ladies Luncheon will be on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 11:30 a.m.  We will be meeting at the Café Del Sol, 1481 Salem Ave., Hagerstown.  If you have any questions, please contact Von Marie.
