FOOD DRIVE—Please remember our food drive for ACTS 9. There is a food basket located in the foyer for nonperishable food donations to benefit the center, or you may give a monetary donation through the tithe envelope.
Prayer and Praise
PRAYER REQUESTS—may be placed in the prayer box in the foyer. These requests will be prayed for on Wednesday by the church staff.
NEW FLOWER CALENDAR—please select a date on the new flower calendar posted on the bulletin board for 2018, for a special occasion, or just to honor your Lord. Mark your tithe envelope flowers ($35).
THANK YOU—Highland View Academy students are so happy for the opportunity they had to serve in Kenya and Houston as well as in our local community. Your support made these trips and service activities possible. Your generosity has allowed ur students to serve and experience a wonderful blessing. We appreciate your support and prayers.
CHERRY BLOSSOM WALK—Because of the weather, we have rescheduled our walk until April 8 instead of April 1. Please meet at the church at 8 a.m. on Sunday and we will go together to Washington D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Walk.
FORKS OVER KNIVES—Documentary will be shown next weekend at 7 p.m. in the Hagerstown Church. Everyone is welcome.
FAMILY LIFE MINISTRY—Join us on April 14 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. as we see the evidence of God’s blessings throughout the lifespan of marriage. We will listen to a panel of married couples representing our diverse congregation of marriages and families. We will listen, learn and understand the evidence of God’s power as he uses the joys and challenges of marriage to join 2 people together as ONE.
EXERCISE—our next exercise class will begin on Sunday, April 15, at 8:30 a.m.
PRAY FOR THE PALE HORSE RIDES—our prayer ministry team has set up a schedule beginning April 12 in which you may call in to a conference call and pray for the meetings to begin on April 19. The time to call is 6:30 p.m. Phone # 1-515-604-9540, access code 377165. We will also be praying at the church at 6:30 on April 19, 20, & 21 just before the meetings start.
A PALE HORSE RIDES—starts in just 3 weeks! This three-part experience, presented by Shawn Boonstra from the Voice of Prophecy and our own Pastor Roger Larsen, will explore the 1,200 years between the merger of the Christian church with Roman rule, and the beginning of Martin Luther’s Reformation.
