Next Sabbath, June 16, our church will be closed

so we can attend the Chesapeake Conference Camp Meeting.


CHESAPEAKE CAMP MEETING—begins Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Highland View Academy.  We invite each one of you to join us each night at 7 p.m. in the Highland View Church.  Our Theme is GO - Tell - Serve.  Our church will be closed next Sabbath, June 16, so we can attend the camp meeting.  Pastor Roger Larsen will be conducting the early morning meetings at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday thru Sabbath.  If you are an early person, you may want to attend.  He will also be leading out in the Adult Sabbath School which will meet in the school library at 9:30 a.m. Sabbath morning.


Service Opportunities

FOOD DRIVE—Please remember our food drive for ACTS 9.  There is a food basket located in the foyer for nonperishable food donations to benefit the center, or you may give a monetary donation through the tithe envelope. 


Prayer and Praise

PRAYER REQUESTS—may be placed in the prayer box in the      foyer.  These requests will be prayed for on Wednesday by the church staff.


Other Announcements

FLOWER CALENDAR—please select a date on the flower calendar posted on the bulletin board for 2018, for a special occasion, or just to honor your Lord. 

ALTAR FLOWERS—the flowers today are given in honor of the

wedding anniversary of Mitch & Gail Greenbaum.


STUDENT AID—forms are available in the church office for those   who would like to request financial help for the following school year.  Please stop by the office to pick up a form.  They are due the end of June.

NOMINATING COMMITTEE REPORT—1st Reading today.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Pastor Larsen this week.

FELLOWSHIP DINNER—our fellowship dinner will be next Sabbath      at Camp Meeting.  Please bring picnic food with you and your lawn chair.  We have the same picnic site (#16) that we had last year.

WOMEN’S SUPPER—All women are invited to a supper next Sabbath, June 16, at Camp Meeting, at 5 p.m. in the Mt. Aetna School Gymnasium.
