Music Concert to Benefit The Falco Orphanage in Tanzania, Africa
Saturday, November 16, 2019, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Falco's Orphanage was founded by Dr. Jerry Backus in 2009. There are over 3 million orphans in Tanzania, Africa. Abandonment is the number one reason for so many orphans, and 44% of Tanzanian population is under 15 years of age. These children are cared for in a nurturing and spiritual environment where they are cared for by loving, Christian mothers and fathers. Come hear heart-stirring testimonials from the children themselves, and from visitors who were able to see first-hand some of the blessings among God's little jewels!
The goal is to be self-sufficient by 2023. Currently the orphanage has 450 feet of well water to serve the surrounding village, cows milk, goats, chicken, eggs, vegetable gardens, and fruits.
The village needs a secondary school to help further education to encourage goals of a brighter future for children, but we cannot do it alone. Let's reach out to our children to let them know that they belong to a bigger family and are heirs of the kingdom of God...and their American brothers and sisters are here to give them support.
Musical Artists: Rodrigo Paiva, Barbara McLaughlin, Valerie Simon, Joseph Choi, Angela Choi, Jermain Cain and others!
